Source analysis (RCA) may be the formal search for a person or number of interacting true reasons for a challenge. The tough part of professional problem solving is always to find out the right tool(s) able to identifying the true root cause(s) of a problem and not just the signs and symptoms. It is common to find more than just one real cause to some problem, so keep clear in the event you just choose one root cause to any problem. RCA can be pointed at any easy and complex problem but the designated problem solver has to understand what technique to use for several types of problems.
